Chaos hit Ashford on Saturday evening when a silver Ford Fiesta caused a series of crashes along busy local roads.

Fiesta Hits Three Cars in One Scary Spree

At around 6pm on 14 August 2021, the Ford Fiesta was seen travelling along Trinity Road when it collided with a silver Vauxhall Vectra, both heading the same way. But the carnage didn’t stop there. The Fiesta then smashed into a black Vauxhall Astra on Faversham Road before crashing into a black Ford Mondeo at the junction of Faversham Road and Canterbury Road.

Driver Arrested, Now Under Investigation

A 25-year-old Ashford man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving under the influence of drink or drugs, driving without a proper licence, driving uninsured, and failing to provide a breath sample. He was later released under investigation while police continue to gather evidence.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Kent Police are urging anyone who witnessed the collisions or captured them on dashcam to get in touch. Witnesses should call 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/148325/21.
