Man Arrested in Trafficking Probe Remanded in Custody

Lucky Osazee Enoghegase Nabbed

Lucky Osazee Enoghegase, from Great Western House, Frenchville Lane, Galway, was arrested yesterday morning. The arrest forms part of a sweeping investigation into human trafficking and related crimes.

Charged and Silent

Detained overnight at Mullingar Garda Station, Enoghegase faced Longford District Court this morning. He was charged with conspiring to traffic a person for exploitation, alongside another trafficking-related offence. When presented with the charges, he made no reply.

Bail Hearing Delayed

Enoghegase’s solicitor, Frank Gearty, confirmed no bail application would be made today, but plans to apply at a later hearing.

Remanded Until Next Week

Judge John Brennan ordered Enoghegase to remain in custody until next Thursday’s appearance at Mullingar District Court.
