Organised Crime Unit Cracks Down
Macauley Cotterill, 25, from Caerwent Road, Ely, was caught red-handed in May. Officers from the Organised Crime Unit spotted him behind the wheel of his Audi Q3 and tailed him in an unmarked car.
Big Bust in Tonyrefail
When Cotterill stopped in Tonyrefail, cops swooped. They found half a kilogramme of Class A drugs and £15,000 cash stashed inside the vehicle. He was arrested on the spot and taken into custody.
Luxury Loot and Phones Seized
Police then searched multiple properties linked to Cotterill. Among the seized items was a rose gold Rolex worth around £40,000. His phones revealed damning evidence of drug supply. Cotterill has since pleaded guilty to drug offences.
