Drug Bust in Eastwood: Cannabis, Cash and Phones Seized
Police swooped on a flat in Manor Road, Eastwood, seizing bags of cannabis, cash, and mobile phones after executing a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant.
Operation Reacher Cracks Down on Dealers
The raid involved Broxtowe County Operation Reacher and the local neighbourhood policing team. It forms part of a wider crackdown to smash drug crime and shield the community from the fallout of illegal drug trade.
Inspector Mike Ebbins told us: “Proactive operations like these show we’re dead set on hitting those who profit from drug supply. We’re here to keep people safe by arresting dealers and confiscating drugs.”
Warning to Dealers: Not in Our Backyard
“We’re sending a loud and clear message,” added Ebbins. “We won’t tolerate this criminality. We’ll use every power to stop them exploiting others for profit.”
Broxtowe’s fight against drug dealing is a top priority due to linked crimes like theft, antisocial behaviour, and preying on the vulnerable. Inspector Ebbins reassured the public: “We’ll keep making Eastwood and Broxtowe a hostile place for criminals.”
