Drug Dealers Busted in Nuneaton Intelligence Operation

Two suspects were arrested in a sting by the Nuneaton Serious and Organised Crime Team. The operation targeted a house on Russett Avenue believed to be a hotspot for drug dealing.

As officers headed to serve a court-issued raid warrant in February 2021, they spotted Anton Pearson driving past. They pulled him over and seized cocaine, cash, and a list naming people who owed money.

Raid Uncovers More Evidence and Suspect Emma Morriss

Detectives executed the raid at the Russett Avenue property, arresting Emma Morriss inside. They discovered tick lists of debts, mobile phones, plastic seal bags, scales, and more cash—key proof of drug dealing.

Pearson Gets Nearly 3 Years; Morriss Avoids Jail For Now

  • Anton Pearson, 36, from Victoria Road, Burbage, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine, involvement in supply, and possession of cannabis. He was sentenced to 2 years and 9 months at Warwick Crown Court on 4 June.
  • Emma Morriss, 44, also from Victoria Road, Burbage, admitted to drug supply involvement and cannabis possession. She received a 23-month jail term suspended for two years.
