Lengthy Sentences for Brutal Offenders
- A man found guilty of seven child sex assaults after a six-day trial was jailed for 12 years.
- Another offender, convicted of kidnapping and raping a woman, got seven-and-a-half years behind bars.
- A further culprit received over two years for a separate sexual assault.
Juggling Heavy Caseload While Mentoring Rookie
Despite handling a high volume of serious cases, Detective Constable McFall also took time to mentor a trainee detective, proving his dedication goes beyond just investigations.
Detective Chief Inspector John Graham-Cumming said: “Detective Constable McFall worked doggedly and with great effectiveness during a difficult period to secure numerous convictions which took serious offenders off the streets. Those convictions and prison sentences gave great comfort to a number of victims who were able to see those who attacked them receive justice for their crimes.”
