Jabbram Hussain Jailed for Brutal Robbery on A46

Self-employed thug Jabbram Hussain stalked his victim home before launching a violent robbery on the night of 3 October 2022.

Victim Targeted After Work

The victim pulled into a layby on the A46 near Flintham after a phone call from his wife. Minutes later, 40-year-old Hussain pulled up, slammed open the driver’s door, punched the man, and demanded cash.

Hussain stole a hefty sum before speeding off. Earlier that day, the victim had warned Hussain to leave him alone, believing he wasn’t in the right state to be around.

Swift Police Action Leads to Arrest

Police quickly tracked down Hussain at his home on Noel Street, nottingham/" title="Nottingham" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Nottingham. He was arrested, charged, and pleaded guilty to robbery.

Judge Slams ‘Premeditated Attack’

At Nottingham Crown Court on 23 November 2022, Hussain was sentenced to three years behind bars.

Police Constable Richard Shaw said: “This was a violent, pre-meditated attack where Hussain waited for the victim to finish work before following him. This was a frightening incident which left the victim feeling afraid and shaken.”

“As a result of the ensuing detailed investigation, I’m pleased we were able to bring Hussain to justice. Now he has been locked up I hope it provides the victim with some comfort as well as reassuring people that Nottinghamshire Police will always do everything in its power to protect the public from people like Hussain and seek justice for victims.”
