Teen Girl Suffers Broken Leg After Hit-and-Run Crash in Deal
Police are hunting witnesses after a teenage girl was left with a broken leg in a hit-and-run on the A256 Eastry Bypass.
Crash Details
The smash happened between 11pm and 11.15pm on Saturday, 6 January 2024, at the junction with Felderland Lane. The injured teen was a passenger in a blue Ford Fiesta when it collided with a grey Volkswagen Scirocco.
The Scirocco driver fled the scene before officers arrived.
Arrest Made in Serious Injury Case
After investigating, police tracked down a 19-year-old man at an address in Sandwich. He was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving but has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
