Stefan Aristidou, 27, was arrested at Heathrow Airport on Wednesday evening, suspected of terrorism offences.

The British national faces seven counts of disseminating terrorist publications, breaching Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006.

Remanded to Face Court

After being taken into custody by Met Police Counter Terrorism Command, Aristidou was remanded ahead of his appearance at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, 5 February).

He was detained around 6:10pm at Heathrow and held at a south London police station before charges were filed.
