Graham Carson, 68, has been locked up for 32 years after assaulting children between 2011 and 2014. The vile predator told one victim, “wish you were 16,” while assuring another it would be “their secret.”

The sickening crimes only came to light when victims bravely reported them in August 2020. Carson, from The Drive, Clacton, denied 18 charges including multiple counts of rape but was found guilty on 30 September following a trial at Chelmsford Crown Court.
On 8 December, he was sentenced to 32 years behind bars: 26 years plus a six-year extension after the judge declared him a “dangerous offender.”
Victims Suffer Long-Term Trauma
One victim revealed ongoing nightmares and severe sleep problems since the abuse. Specialist officers have been supporting the victims through their recovery.
“The three victims have been through an unimaginable ordeal at the hands of Graham Carson and have demonstrated incredible strength in reporting what happened,” said Detective Constable Reuben Brame.
“The impact of Carson’s abuse cannot be overstated – those affected live with the memories every day. No sentence will undo his crimes but I hope this helps the victims move forward.”
