Massive Drug Haul in Gillingham: Dealer Nabbed with Kilos of Coke and Cannabis
On Tuesday 4 April 2023, cops swooped on a property in Gordon Road, Gillingham. Inside an outbuilding, they found 27-year-old Zubair Butt hoarding a serious stash.
Kilos of Coke and Cannabis Seized
- 1 kilogram of cocaine
- 1 kilogram of cannabis
- Five mobile phones
- £1,270 in cash
Butt was swiftly arrested and charged with possession with intent to supply both cocaine and cannabis.
Dealer Gets Over Six Years Behind Bars
He pleaded guilty to both offences and on Friday 23 June 2023, was slammed with a hefty six years and three months prison sentence at Maidstone Crown Court.
The judge also ordered the destruction of all mobile phones and seized the cash, which will be handed over to kent-police/" title="Kent Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Kent Police charities.

“Kent Police takes drugs trafficking seriously. Illegal drug networks not only supply controlled substances but fuel violent crime,” said DC Jack Geere of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
“These unregulated drugs are dangerous to users and the wider community. Removing them from our streets and bringing offenders to justice remains a top priority.”
