Man Charged with Triple Murder After Arson Attack
Following a joint police and fire investigation, detectives have charged 31-year-old Jamie Barrow of Fairisle Close, Clifton, with three counts of murder. The blaze was confirmed to be deliberately started.
Barrow has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at nottingham/" title="Nottingham" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Nottingham Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Friday).
Police Speak Out on Heartbreaking Case
“Our thoughts remain with the family at this incredibly painful time, as well as the communities affected by this most tragic of incidents,” said Assistant Chief Constable Rob Griffin of Nottinghamshire Police.
“The grief this family has endured is incomprehensible. Large teams of detectives, specialist search units and forensic experts have worked relentlessly to uncover the full circumstances behind this deliberate fire.
“Following those inquiries, we have charged a suspect with three counts of murder. The family are aware of this development, and I want to sincerely thank them for their patience and understanding as we do everything possible to seek justice for Fatoumatta, Fatimah, and Naeemah.”
