Jealous Rage Ends in Brutal Attack on Stranger
Jordan House, 23, went on a violent rampage in Basingstoke after someone allegedly stole his girlfriend’s scooter. But instead of finding the real culprit, he targeted an innocent 18-year-old man.
Brutal Assault Leaves Teen with Broken Bone
The attack happened around 11pm on Oakridge Road on Friday, 29 December last year. The victim, completely unknown to House, suffered serious facial injuries, including a broken orbital bone. He had to be rushed to hospital for urgent treatment.
Jealousy Turns Deadly Over Scooter Theft
Court heard that a few days earlier, House’s girlfriend’s scooter was stolen from the same road. Despite that, House attacked a stranger he spotted on the street — who had nothing to do with the scooter theft.
House Gets Jail for Vicious Assault
At Winchester Crown Court on Tuesday 26 March, House pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He was locked up for three years and six months for the savage attack.
