Spooked by Police on Penn Road
Police spotted Khan acting suspiciously during a patrol around 3.35pm on 5 February last year. A search uncovered a stash of drugs on him. The raids didn’t stop there.
More Drugs and £16,000 in Cash Found at Home
Officers then searched Khan’s home, discovering further quantities of drugs along with more than £16,000 in cash – a clear sign of serious dealing.
Police Warn: Drug Dealing Won’t Be Tolerated
“Khan had no qualms carrying out his drug dealing in a busy residential street until he was spotted by officers from our Stronghold team,” said Detective Constable Andy Hipwell.
“Drugs cause significant harm within our communities. We will take the strongest action when such crimes come to our attention. Our Stronghold campaign protects children and vulnerable people often exploited by these offenders.
“This sentence sends a clear message: we won’t tolerate drug crime here and we aim to deter others intent on similar offences.”
