Cambridge Drug Dealer Daniel Bari Jailed for Over Four Years

Daniel Bari, 23, has been sentenced to four years and four months in prison for supplying class A drugs, including crack cocaine and heroin, across Cambridge.

Crackdown After Phone Evidence Links Dealer to Drug Line

Police arrested Bari in September 2021 on an unrelated charge after seizing his phone on Roseford Road. Later, forensic analysis connected his phone to an active county lines drug operation. His fingerprints were found on packages of crack cocaine and heroin in a nearby car.

Second Arrest Uncovers Cash and Phones

Bari was detained again in October. Officers discovered two mobile phones by his bedside and £515 in cash hidden in his shorts. Despite having no fixed address, he admitted his role in distributing significant amounts of class A drugs across the city.

Detective Vows to Tackle County Lines

Bari was responsible for facilitating the sale of significant quantities of class A drugs in Cambridge,” said Detective Constable Jacob Reeves.

“We were able to connect Bari to the ‘active’ line using phone data. County lines dealers prey on other people’s vulnerabilities to run their businesses and make money.”

“Our force is committed to disrupting these operations and bringing people like Bari to justice to make our communities safer.”
