Child Predator Justin Peterson Jailed for 35 Years Over Sick Online Abuse

Peterson’s Sick Crimes Exposed

Justin Michael Peterson, 28, pleaded guilty in Maryland to horrifying sex crimes against children on August 30, 2022. He admitted to one count of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of distribution of child pornography.

How He Targeted Kids Online

In January 2020, Peterson used Instagram to video chat with a child. He coaxed the youngster into performing sexual acts while secretly recording the chats using special software. Peterson then shared these vile videos with another minor through Kik and Snapchat.

Disturbingly, court documents reveal Peterson even talked about kidnapping one of the victims during their illicit chats.

Sickening Revelations After Arrest

Following his February 2020 arrest, Peterson shockingly confessed he is sexually attracted to children as young as three years old. A forensic search of his phone uncovered hundreds of appalling images showing the abuse of toddlers and infants.

Police also found evidence he actively took part in online groups devoted to child sex abuse content. Worse, Peterson offered to “rent” a child victim as a “cam slave” in these depraved chats.

Previous Conviction and Harsh Sentence

Peterson had already been convicted in 2016 in Maryland for distributing child pornography. Despite being registered as a sex offender, he continued offending.

He now faces 35 years in prison plus 30 years of supervised release. Under the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA), Peterson must register as a sex offender wherever he lives, works, or studies.
