Nottingham Paedophile Busted with Shocking Child Abuse Images
Ryan Nahirny, 35, from Basford, Nottingham, was caught red-handed after indecent photos of children were found on his phone. The damning discovery happened in August when he handed his phone to someone helping him fill out an online form.
Thousands of Sick Images Unearthed
While trying to add a photo to the form, the helper stumbled across horrific images. Police soon seized multiple devices belonging to Nahirny, uncovering over 6,000 child sexual abuse pictures. More than half showed the most severe offences against children.
Investigators also recovered disturbing chat messages where Nahirny openly discussed raping and abusing kids. Two victims were identified from images shared online.
Seven Years Behind Bars for Vile Offender
Nahirny pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including sexual activity with a child under 13, distributing indecent images, and possessing abusive pictures. Today at Nottingham Crown Court, he was jailed for seven years. On top of that, he must serve three years on extended licence, join the Sex Offenders’ Register indefinitely, and obey a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Detective Constable Sarah Clarke said: “Nahirny amassed a truly horrific collection of child sexual abuse images. More than half depicted the worst offences possible. Behind each image is a vulnerable child suffering appalling abuse. The emotional and physical scars last a lifetime.”
“Downloading and sharing this material is serious enough, but Nahirny went further and abused children directly. I’m pleased he’s been punished and hope this sentence offers some comfort to his victims and their families.”
