Paedo Jailed After Police Stop Car with Two Teen Girls On Board
Mohammed Chaudry, 38, from Stretford, Greater Manchester, has been sentenced to 30 months behind bars. He was convicted of horrific sexual offences against two teenage girls, drink driving, and possession of Class B drugs.
Disturbing Crime Uncovered After Public Alert
In the early hours of Thursday 14 July, police were tipped off by a concerned member of the public about a car driving erratically in the city centre. Officers pulled over the vehicle on Edge Lane, liverpool/" title="Liverpool" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Liverpool, and found Chaudry behind the wheel with two teenage girls aged 14 and 15 inside.
Justice Served as Chaudry Faces Multiple Orders
Chaudry was arrested and charged the next day. Alongside his jail sentence, he has been slapped with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, a Restraining Order, and indefinite notification requirements.
Detective Inspector Alan Nuttall said: “This was an extremely disturbing crime by Chaudry against two teenage girls which has caused them great psychological distress.
“I would like to thank the vigilant member of the public who brought this case to the attention of police, and the victims in this case for their bravery in supporting the criminal justice process. I would also like to thank our specialist officers who have supported them throughout this case.
“Thanks to their extensive investigations this despicable offender is behind bars where he will pose no further risk to other girls.”
