Murder Probe Launched After Man Stabbed to Death in Hounslow
A brutal stabbing at a Hounslow home has sparked a murder investigation. Police were called at 11:28am on Thursday, 19 December following reports of an attack inside a house on Grove Road, TW3.
Emergency crews, including the London Ambulance Service and HEMs, rushed to the scene. They found a 35-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at 12:06pm.
The victim has been named as Ebrima “Brim” Cham. His family has been informed and are devastated.
Three Suspects Forced Their Way In
Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh, leading the inquiry, revealed: “At this early stage we believe three suspects forced their way into the property where Brim sustained a fatal injury.”
“This was clearly a targeted attack. We want to understand what was happening in Brim’s life.”
He added: “There were many people in and around Grove Road at the time. If you witnessed anything odd, please come forward.”
Man Arrested but Not Linked to Break-In
A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody. However, he is not believed to be one of the three intruders who broke into the home.
Chief Superintendent Peter Gardner, commander of the West Area Basic Command Unit, pledged: “Our thoughts are with Brim’s family. We’re committed to catching those responsible for this senseless death.”
He warned locals to expect increased police presence in Grove Road and urged anyone with information to come forward.
