Police Analyst Arrested Over Leaks in Major Corruption Inquiry
Natalie Mottram, 22, a Cheshire Police officer seconded to the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit, has been arrested by the National Crime Agency (NCA). The arrest is linked to an Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) investigation into alleged unauthorised disclosures.
Serious Charges Laid Against Mottram and Two Others
- Mottram faces four counts of unauthorised access to computer material and one count of perverting the course of justice.
- Jonathan Kay, 36, is charged with perverting the course of justice and two counts of ignoring notices under the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000.
- Leah Bennett, 36, also faces charges of perverting the course of justice.
