County Lines Drug Dealer Busted in Maidstone
A suspected county lines drug dealer has been nabbed by alert cops in Maidstone. The drama unfolded at 1.50pm on Monday, 21 September 2020, when officers on patrol spotted a Skoda Superb behaving suspiciously on Mill Street.
Car Search Yields Cocaine and Fake ID
Officers suspected the driver was peddling drugs and promptly searched the vehicle. They found a stash of cocaine, leading to the driver’s immediate arrest.
Alongside the drugs, police also seized a false driving licence. The suspect, 28-year-old Jetmir Rajta from Hemswell Drive, Greater London, now faces serious charges.
Charged and Remanded Ahead of Crown Court Hearing
Rajta was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of a false identity document. He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 23 September, and has been remanded until a Maidstone Crown Court hearing on 21 October 2020.
