Burglary Bloke Nabbed After Looting £2,700 Worth of Goods
David Sam Soley, 36, swiped £2,700 worth of stolen goods in a brazen May raid. Caught red-handed thanks to CCTV, he faced the music at Teesside Crown Court via videolink this morning.

The court revealed Soley, from Brougham Street, already had eight previous house burglary convictions. After pleading guilty, he was slammed with a hefty sentence: three years and four months behind bars.
Detective Condemns Crime Against Vulnerable Victim
“Burglary is a despicable crime which can have lasting consequences and was made even worse in this instance as the victim was ill in hospital at the time of the offence,” said Detective Constable Grace Holohan of Darlington CID.
She added, “We hope this sentence gives the victim some closure.”
