Predator on the Prowl: 26-Year-Old Attacks Three Women Near Tube Stations
Mohammad Yahia Alloush, 26, of High Road, NW10, pleaded guilty to attacking three women over two weeks in September 2021. The terrifying assaults happened around north-west London underground stations.
Chilling CCTV Captures Stalking and Attacks
The horror began on 5 September at Dollis Hill Underground Station. CCTV showed Alloush lurking for 20 minutes, watching passengers. He then followed a woman down nearby streets and launched a violent sexual assault.
Six days later, Alloush struck again. At 10.30pm on 11 September, a woman leaving the same station was approached by Alloush riding a Santander hire bike. He demanded money, then sexually assaulted her. The victim’s screams alerted neighbours, forcing Alloush to flee before police arrived.
On 16 September, Alloush was caught on camera leaving Neasden Underground Station at 7.30pm. Hours later, at 10.27pm, CCTV showed him walking into an alley to attack his latest victim. This time, he also stole a pair of headphones before fleeing.
Police Hunting Predator Scrutinise Hours of CCTV
Detectives at Wembley Police Station poured over hundreds of hours of surveillance from Tube stations and local homes. After the first attack, they tracked Alloush running back to the station in a black and white striped top, tapping in with his Oyster card registered to his home address.
He was arrested by the Met’s North West Predatory Offender Unit on his way to work as a labourer. Searches of his properties uncovered the distinctive striped T-shirt and the stolen headphones.
Victims Speak Out – Predator’s Actions Leave Lasting Scars
A DNA swab from the first victim linked Alloush to the assaults. His phone records also placed him at the scenes during the attacks.
“Mohammed Alloush is a cowardly, predatory offender, who appeared unafraid of attacking women who he had picked out near underground stations,” said Detective Constable Matthew Chapman. “His offending was apparently escalating when he was caught and areas of North West London are all the safer for him being in prison. Alloush always denied involvement and I would like to pay tribute to the bravery of the victims who were ready to give evidence against him right up until the first day of trial when he changed his plea to guilty.”
Victims told the court they have been left terrified to leave their homes after dark. One carries colour spray and a whistle for protection.
Alloush has been slapped with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order banning him from being within 50 metres of any underground, train station, or bus stop in London between 7pm and 7am until 2030.
