Man Arrested Over Rape in Sittingbourne Woodland
A 21-year-old man from Sittingbourne has been arrested in connection with a reported rape early on Saturday, 11 December 2021.
Attack Allegedly Took Place in Wooded Area
The victim, a woman, is said to have been attacked by a man she met during a night out. The rape reportedly happened in a woodland strip between Harrier Drive and Osprey Court.
Police Launch Forensic Investigation
Detectives swooped around 7pm on the same day, taking the suspect into custody on suspicion of rape. The police have cordoned off the area and seized CCTV footage as part of the ongoing probe.
