Man Injured in Early Morning High Street Assault
A man in his 30s suffered a serious torso injury during a brutal attack on the High Street at 4.25am on Saturday, 30 April 2022. He was rushed to a London hospital for urgent treatment.
Two Men Arrested Following Thanet CID Probe
Thanet Criminal Investigation Department launched a swift inquiry that led to the arrest of two men. Daniel Haine, 25, from Station Road, Birchington, has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possessing a bladed weapon.
Haine is set to face Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 3 May.
A second suspect, a 21-year-old man from Ramsgate, has been released on bail until Friday, 20 May while police continue their enquiries.
