Man Charged After Violent Car Theft in Dartford
A man has been hit with four charges after stealing a car in Dartford in a terrifying ordeal.
Bladed Weapon Used in Brazen Theft
Kent Police were called at just after 8.30am on Thursday 19 March 2020 when a woman sitting in her car on Heath Lane was threatened with a knife. The suspect forced her out of the vehicle and sped off in her grey Volkswagen Golf.
Suspect Arrested and Charged
After a swift investigation, Ricci Coulthard, 34, from Maylands Drive, Sidcup, was arrested on Monday 30 March. He faces charges of robbery, assault, dangerous driving, and possession of a knife.
Locked Up Ahead of Crown Court Hearing
Coulthard appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 31 March and has been remanded in custody. His case is set for Maidstone Crown Court on 28 April.
