Predator Mark Anthony Wilson Guilty of Horrific Abuse Against Nine Children

Mark Anthony Wilson, 35, from Allen Grove, has pleaded guilty to 27 vile charges involving nine victims aged from just seven to 19. The depraved predator targeted vulnerable children and young adults across the UK between 2018 and 2020.

Threatened, Bullied and Abused Online

Wilson forced his victims to send intimate sexual images and videos by threatening to expose them and their families if they refused. Horrifyingly, he often followed through on these threats, publicly humiliating his victims by sharing their private images online or with others.

  • In one shocking case, Wilson sent a video of a naked teenage boy to the mother of another victim.
  • Disturbingly, officers found 206 messages and FaceTime calls exchanging images of a seven-year-old boy’s genitals between Wilson and the victim.
  • Explicit images of an eight-year-old were also uncovered, alongside over 1,100 graphic messages from Wilson.

Racist Abuse and Threats to Ruin Lives

Wilson’s depravity extended to a 16-year-old girl who was bombarded with racially abusive, threatening, and sexual messages. He even falsely accused her father of rape to intimidate her. The court handed him a nine-month sentence enhancement for this racially aggravated offence.

Justice Served After Relentless Offending

Wilson was sentenced on 15 June 2022 at Crown Court after pleading guilty in multiple hearings at York Magistrates’ Court. Detective Constable Karen Barugh slammed him, saying:

“The defendant committed multiple malicious and sexual offences against children online, causing them immense distress. They lived in terror of his threats. Despite arrest, he continued offending on bail, with his crimes escalating. He showed no remorse for his actions.”

Wilson also received an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order to protect the public from his vile behaviour.
