Four Jailed After Brutal Sevenoaks Brawl

Four thugs have been locked up following a nasty clash between rival gangs in Sevenoaks. The violence erupted after a conference at a local theatre on Saturday, 14 April 2018, spilling into Bligh’s Meadow car park.

Violent Disorder Caught on Camera

  • Dale Lutton, 27, no fixed address, got 16 months after being filmed landing punch after punch on a victim as the fight broke out.
  • Paul Carbine, 33, from Wickford, Essex, handed a 12-month sentence after pleading guilty. Cameras caught him throwing punches at multiple opponents.
  • Deirdre McTucker, 43, no fixed address, also received 12 months for grabbing a woman by the hair and punching her repeatedly in the face.
  • Sebastian Seccombe, 20, of Consett, County Durham, got 10 months in a young offenders’ institution after admitting violent disorder. He kicked one victim in the stomach and attempted flying kicks at others.

Police Slam Mindless Violence

Detective Sergeant Dan Barker of Kent Police said: “The actions of these four people and others involved in fighting that day were completely unacceptable.”

“Members of the public should be able to go about their daily business without having to witness such mindless acts of violence, as has been demonstrated by the sentences imposed by the judge in this case.”

“All four now have plenty of time behind bars to consider whether the juvenile behaviour they displayed was really worth it.”

Judge Sends Clear Message

The Maidstone Crown Court sentences on Friday 29 November 2019 make it clear: violent disorder won’t be tolerated in Kent. These four now face serious time after their shocking behaviour.
