Blaze Breaks Out in Tonbridge Home
Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a dining room fire on Mabledon Road, Tonbridge. Two fire engines arrived fast to tackle the electrical blaze.
Firefighters Battle Flames and Smoke
Crews in breathing gear doused the fire with hose reel jets. They also blasted high-pressure fans to clear thick smoke from the house.
One Treated for Minor Burns
One resident suffered minor burns to his feet and leg. He was treated at the scene before being handed over to SECAmb medics.
Warning Issued After Blaze
Firefighters believe the fire was accidental. They urged the public not to overload power sockets or extension leads with too many appliances.
