Shock Stabbing: Ambulance Crew Attacked While on Duty
Two ambulance staff were stabbed today while trying to help a man. Quick-thinking West Midlands Police officers tasered the suspect, preventing further harm.
Victims Hospitalised, Suspect Arrested
The injured crew members, a man and a woman, are now receiving hospital treatment. Police arrested a 52-year-old man on suspicion of wounding at the scene.

“The situation might have been very different had it not been for the quick action of police officers,” said Assistant Chief Ambulance Officer Nathan Hudson.
Hudson also praised his team’s professionalism: “There can be nothing worse than going to help people you know who’ve been seriously hurt. Throughout, they acted impeccably.”
