£100,000 Cash and Drugs Seized in Major Kent Drug Bust
Police struck hard on Friday, 5 March 2021, seizing around £100,000 in cash during raids in Kent. The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate raided addresses in Chorister Crescent, Hoo; Ranscombe Close, Rochester; and a garage in Seagull Road, Strood.
Drugs, Designer Goods Found in Raids
Alongside the cash haul, officers confiscated significant quantities of amphetamine. Luxury watches and high-end clothing were also seized, hinting at the spoils of a lucrative drug operation.
Two Men Arrested and Charged
David Squires, 44, and Lewis Squires, 22, both from Chorister Crescent, Rochester, were arrested. David faces charges of being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession of amphetamine, and possession of criminal property. Lewis has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession of criminal property.
Both men remain in custody and are due to appear at Medway Magistrates Court on Monday, 8 March 2021.
