Portsmouth Mob Targets Wrong Woman After Homeless Man Arson Attack
Angry Portsmouth residents have taken to Facebook to vent fury over a horrific weekend arson attack on a homeless man in the city centre. Trouble is, they’ve gotten the wrong woman in their sights.
Case of Mistaken Identity Sparks Online Hate Storm
Nicola King, 22, from Mill Road, Waterlooville, has been bombarded with nasty messages after sharing the same name as one of the women charged over the attack.
My friend Nicola King unfortunately shares the same name and town as the vile girl who committed the attack on the homeless man in Portsmouth,” a follower told us. “She’s had loads of hate messages from people thinking it’s her – she wants to let everyone know to stop sending abuse to the wrong person! Thank you!”
Two Women Charged Over Arson Attack
- Nicola King, who uses the name Nicola James on Facebook
- Jerely Evans, 25, of Lockerley Road, Havant, who goes by Gerii Lea Radford online
Both have been officially charged with arson and criminal damage after the brutal attack on a homeless man on Commercial Road.
Next Court Date Set
The pair are set to appear before Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 25th April.
