Teen Arrested Over Fatal Colindale Stabbing of Anthony Adekola
Teen Charged with Murder
A teenager has been charged with the murder of 22-year-old Anthony Adekola in Colindale. He was arrested on Tuesday, 6 October, and formally charged the following day. The youth has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Bromley Youth Court today.
Deadly Stabbing Shakes NW2
The tragedy unfolded on Saturday, 5 September, after police were alerted by the London Ambulance Service at around 11:05pm to a stabbing incident on Debden Close, NW2. Anthony was found with fatal stab wounds on nearby Martlesham Walk and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Multiple Suspects in Custody
Police investigations by the Met’s Specialist Crime Unit continue as three other males also face murder charges:
- Christian Medina, 19, of New Brent Street, NW4
- A 16-year-old male from Hendon
- Tajuan Subaran, 18, of New Brent Street, NW4
They appeared at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on 14 September and were remanded in custody at the Old Bailey with a further hearing scheduled for 4 December.
Further Arrests Made
In addition, six more males aged between 15 and 19 have been arrested and bailed while inquiries continue.
