Six Years On, Detectives Beg for Break in Adam Ellison Murder
Detectives are urging the public to finally help crack the murder of Adam Ellison, who was fatally attacked six years ago. The 29-year-old was killed in Market Place in the early hours of November 4, 2017, after a brawl involving two men on a scrambler bike. Despite arrests and a lengthy investigation, no one has been charged.
Police Plead for Witnesses to Speak Up
In a powerful joint appeal with Adam’s family, cops are asking anyone with information to do the right thing. Detective Inspector Dave Jones said, “We know the answers lie within our communities. We implore those who’ve stayed silent to search their conscience. Adam’s family deserves closure and justice.”
He added, “If you’re wary of speaking directly to police, contact Crimestoppers anonymously.”
£20,000 Reward Offered for Vital Info
Crimestoppers, the independent charity that guarantees complete anonymity, has slapped a £20,000 reward on the table for tips leading to a conviction. Gary Murray, North West Regional Manager, said, “We understand it’s tough to come forward, but we provide a safe, anonymous way for people to share vital information. Anyone who knows something can help bring justice for Adam.”
