Man Stabbed in Liverpool City Centre – Police Hunt Attacker

Police are urgently seeking witnesses after a stabbing in Liverpool city centre this Saturday afternoon, 23 December.

Victim Hurt on Whitechapel

At around 2.20pm, a man in his 20s was stabbed in the leg during an attack by another male on Whitechapel.

Emergency crews rushed the victim to hospital. Thankfully, his injury isn’t life-threatening.

Police Plea for Witnesses and CCTV Footage

Officers are still at the scene, piecing together what sparked the attack. Chief Inspector Tom Welch said:

“We are in the early stages of the investigation and appeal to anyone with info to come forward. It would have been very busy at the time, so if you saw anything, please get in touch urgently. If you were in the area or driving past, please check your CCTV or dashcam – even the smallest detail could help us catch the culprit.”
