Gravesend Pervert Busted After Shocking Spree Against Women
Detectives in Gravesend have arrested a 21-year-old man following disturbing reports of indecent exposure and assaults on women. After releasing CCTV images on 14 October 2021, the suspect turned himself in the very next day at Kent Police Headquarters.
Three Disturbing Offences Spark Fear in Gravesend
The man is now held on suspicion of indecent exposure, voyeurism, and assault. Police say he’s linked to three incidents:
- On 23 May, a woman walking through an alleyway linking Hever 1 Road and Cedar Avenue had her mouth covered by a man’s hand.
- On 12 June, a different woman was indecently exposed to on the same alleyway.
- On 7 July, in Whinfell Way, the suspect allegedly took a photo up a teenage girl’s skirt.
‘Community on Edge’ as Police Ramp up Patrols
Kent Police confirm that patrols have increased in the area and will continue. Officers urge anyone with information to come forward.
