£300k Fake Designer Haul Seized in Dartford Raid
Police swooped on a Dartford warehouse and uncovered a trove of suspected counterfeit designer clothes, handbags, and sunglasses. The bust, carried out on Saturday 11 May 2024, saw officers recover knock-off goods worth over £300,000.
Fake Luxury Gear Found in Car Boot
The haul didn’t stop inside the warehouse. Officers also seized fake sunglasses, shoes, and watches from the boot of a nearby parked car, adding to the staggering stash of fakes.
Three Arrested in Counterfeit Probe
A 53-year-old man and two women aged 36 and 45 were arrested on the spot as part of the ongoing investigation. All three have since been bailed until Sunday 11 August while police continue their enquiries.
This major crackdown is part of efforts to tackle the booming trade in counterfeit luxury goods, hitting bootleggers hard and warning others to think twice.
