An asylum seeker housed at Perth’s Radisson Blu hotel, also known as the Station Hotel, is facing sentencing after a string of chilling sexual offences.
Two Women Assaulted on ScotRail Trains
Mohammed Mirzai, 24, believed to be from Afghanistan, launched nearly identical attacks on two women aboard ScotRail trains between Glasgow Queen Street and Polmont in March 2025. The victims were both inappropriately touched on their upper thighs during separate incidents on March 14 and March 22.
Mirzai was arrested by British Transport Police and pleaded guilty to both offences on Monday.
More Charges While Out on Bail
In a shocking twist, Mirzai was charged with further offences while out on bail. In October last year, he committed voyeurism at Perth Leisure Pool by crawling on the floor to spy on a disabled woman drying herself in a locked cubicle. The woman caught him in the act, which led to his swift arrest.
