Paedophile ‘Baby Harry’ Banned from Isle of Wight but Skips Jail

Harry Simmonds, 24, notorious as ‘Baby Harry’, has dodged prison despite shocking new offences. Instead, he’s been handed a temporary ban from the Isle of Wight.

Shocking Bus Stop Incident Caught on Camera

Homeless Simmonds, already guilty of breaching a sexual risk order and malicious communication, caused alarm on May 12. Two teenage girls, aged 14 and 15, found a poster near Medina College and Leisure Centre plastered with lurid photos of Simmonds—one in a red bra, another in a nappy.

The poster accused him of being a paedophile who “likes to rub himself against children.” Adding to the horror, Simmonds appeared behind the girls and told them, “send the photos wherever they want.”

Continued Harassment After Being Released on Bail

Even after pleading guilty on June 2, Simmonds’ vile behaviour didn’t stop. Between June 6 and 11, he repeatedly harassed a former victim, sending images of himself in nappies holding a sign reading “I am a paedo,” plus videos of him sprinkling chilli powder on his genitals. On June 13, he also sent nasty messages to another woman.

Judge Takes a Risk with Suspended Sentence

Defence lawyers revealed Simmonds bears a scar from a brutal attack in HMP Lewes during his previous prison stint. They argued a suspended sentence would let him live under supervision with his partner and her mother in West Sussex.

Judge Malcolm Gibney slammed Simmonds’ actions as “malicious and disgusting” but admitted he was “taking a chance” by suspending the 48-week sentence. Along with a two-year suspended sentence, Simmonds is banned from the Isle of Wight.

Simmonds’ dark record includes 13 counts of malicious communication, sending explicit images to children, and terrifying rape threats. His prison sentences have grown longer since 2019, yet once again, he walks free—for now.
