Brutal Boyfriend Jailed for Stanley Knife Attack
Mark Moys, 20, from Canterbury, has been locked up for two years and four months after a savage assault on his girlfriend. The violent yob slashed her with a Stanley knife and lashed her with a belt during a terrifying attack at her home.
Horror Assault Leaves Woman Scarred
The court heard how a heated argument turned deadly when Moys punched and choked his partner. He bit her forearm, whipped her face with a belt, then cut her with the knife. He was arrested in the early hours of 28 April 2018. During his trial at Canterbury Crown Court, Moys admitted to assault, unlawful wounding, and making threats to kill.
Judge Sends Violent Moys to Young Offenders
On 16 August, Moys was sentenced to serve his time in a young offender institution, putting an end to his reign of terror.
