Attack Shakes Quiet Ramsgate Street

A chilling attempted rape unfolded in broad daylight in Ramsgate. Police have now released a computer-generated image of a man they want to track down. The shocking incident happened at around 1.10pm on Sunday, 1 December 2019, inside a public toilet at the junction of Grange Road and St Augustine’s Road.

Victim Escapes Unharmed

The victim, a woman in her 20s, fought back and managed to flee unscathed after the suspect grabbed her. A 26-year-old man was arrested the same day but was later bailed until 26 February while inquiries continue.
