Three Men Nab Huge Safe in Bold Hotel Heist
Three brazen thieves struck at Smiths Court Hotel on Eastern Esplanade, Cliftonville, late on Boxing Day. Between 10.15pm and 10.45pm on Sunday, 26 December 2021, they broke in and made off with a massive industrial safe.
Second Break-In in Days Hits Hotel
The daring raid came just two days after burglars targeted the hotel’s CCTV system on 24 December, in a likely attempt to cover their tracks.
Police Urge Public to Help Crack Case
Crime scene investigators have combed the hotel for clues, while officers canvassed nearby residents for information. Detectives are now appealing to the public to check dashcams and home CCTV for any footage that could pinpoint the culprits.
