Manhunt on for Michael Fadeyibi’s Killer: Ryan Igbinovia Still on the Run
Ryan Igbinovia, 26, is wanted over the brutal stabbing murder of Michael Fadeyibi in east London. Michael was fatally attacked on Henniker Road, E15, in the early hours of August 6, 2021.
Another Suspect at Large Despite Conviction
One man, Christopher Owens-Wright, 23, has already been convicted for Michael’s murder. But Igbinovia remains at large, believed to have ties across Stratford, southeast London, and Birmingham.
Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Allen from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command urged the public:
“Michael’s family have been devastated by his death. They deserve justice. I am confident someone knows where Igbinovia is hiding. If you spot him or have any information, please contact us. If you want to stay anonymous, reach out to Crimestoppers.”
Heartbroken Father Pleads for Justice
Michael’s dad, Charlie Fadeyibi, spoke out in an emotional appeal:
“On August 6, 2021, my son was cruelly taken from us. We lost a beloved son, brother, and grandson. Michael and his sister Rebecca meant the world to their mother, and those responsible ignored that pain when they stabbed him.”
“Rebecca was very close to Michael. Losing him has shattered her. It’s unimaginable for their mother to lose her son and watch her daughter suffer.”
“No one deserves such a brutal death. I can only imagine how scared Michael must have been, fighting for his life.”
“Two men are responsible. One was convicted, but the other is still free. It’s terrifying to know someone who killed my son without remorse is roaming the streets.”
“This man could kill again. Another family’s life could be ruined. I beg anyone with info to help police catch him.”
“Michael’s death has broken me mentally, emotionally, and physically. Since Owens-Wright’s conviction, we have awaited sentencing, but no punishment will bring Michael back. We’re serving a life sentence of grief.”
£10,000 Reward Offered for Information
The Metropolitan Police have offered up to £10,000 for information leading to Igbinovia’s arrest.
The attack saw Michael chased and stabbed multiple times. Emergency services were called but could not save him.
