Romford Man Stabbed to Death in City of London
Emmanuel Odunlami, 32, from Romford, was found with a fatal stab wound on Gresham Street, EC2V, at around 11:30pm on May 1, 2022.
Police performed CPR at the scene before rushing him to the Royal London Hospital. Sadly, Emmanuel died later that night. His family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
One Arrested but Bailed in Murder Probe
Officers arrested one suspect on suspicion of murder. However, that person has now been bailed pending further inquiries.
Enquiries into the stabbing are ongoing. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
City of London Police Plea for Witnesses
Commander Umer Khan said:
“Our thoughts and condolences are with Emmanuel’s friends and family at this difficult time.
We urge anyone who was near the scene or has any information, no matter how small, to come forward. Even the tiniest detail could crack this case.
Witnesses can remain anonymous and all tips will be treated in confidence.”
