Teen Duo Charged in Deadly N17 Stabbing
A 15-year-old boy faces murder, GBH with intent, and weapon possession charges after a fatal stabbing on Penshurst Road, N17. He will appear at Highbury Corner Youth Court on Thursday, 11 March. He was arrested on Wednesday, 10 March.
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old male charged with murder appeared at the same court on Wednesday, 10 March. He has been remanded in custody and will next appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 12 March.
19-Year-Old Man Stabbed to Death
Police were called at 1:54pm on Monday, 8 March following reports of a stabbing. Officers, with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, found three men at the scene – two had suffered stab wounds.
Tragically, 19-year-old Nikolay Vandev was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives have informed his family, who are being supported by specialist officers. A post-mortem confirmed he died from a stab wound.
Two Others Injured, One Serious
- An 18-year-old man was seriously stabbed and taken to hospital; his condition is not life-threatening.
- The third man, also 18, suffered minor injuries treated at the scene.
