A 26-year-old man is fighting through serious hand injuries after a terrifying attack at Halton’s Top Store.
Balaclava-Clad Pair Strike at Halton Shop
The assault happened around 8.45pm on Monday when two men wearing balaclavas stormed into the Selby Road shop. They began stealing items, sparking chaos.
Victim Slashed While Trying to Flee
Detective Constable Samantha Wilson from Leeds District CID revealed chilling details: “The victim was running to escape when he was slashed on the back. He then hurt his hand defending himself against the attackers.”
Though the masked raiders hid their faces, police have CCTV of their clothing. Officers want anyone who recognises the suspects or saw suspicious activity to come forward.

“Several vehicles passed by at the time,” added DC Wilson. “If you have dashcam footage from the area, please get in touch.”
