Man Charged with Murder of 76-Year-Old Woman in Newham

Donovan Miller, 30, from Kent Street, E13, was charged with murder on Friday, 26 March. He is due to appear at Thames Magistrates Court on Saturday, 27 March, held in custody.
Victim Named as Phyllis Nelson
The elderly victim has been identified locally as 76-year-old Phyllis Nelson. Police were called to her home in Kent Street, Newham, at 10:18pm on Thursday, 25 March.
Tragic Scene at Kent Street
Emergency services, including officers and London Ambulance paramedics, rushed to the scene. Sadly, Ms. Nelson was pronounced dead at her residence.
