Trains between Ashford and Canterbury West screeched to a halt in the early hours of June 1, 2022. Police and paramedics rushed to Hythe Road in Ashford after reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Victim Unidentified, Cause of Death Under Investigation
The victim’s identity, age, and gender remain unknown. Authorities are working hard to identify the deceased and contact their next of kin. Sadly, the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
