Man Charged with Murder After Park Death
Marius Ziugzda, 46, with no fixed address, was charged with murder on Sunday, 23 October. He was arrested three days earlier on Thursday, 20 October.
Tragic Discovery in Bromley Park
Police were called at 11:14am on Thursday following reports of an unresponsive man at 1 Park. Emergency teams including the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene but the man, believed to be around 60 years old, was pronounced dead.
Homicide Investigation Underway
Specialist Crime homicide detectives are now leading the inquiry. Officers are also working to trace the victim’s next of kin as enquiries continue.
Upcoming Court Appearance
Ziugzda is due to appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 24 October.
