Woman Missing Since December Now at Centre of Murder Probe
Maureen Gitau, 24, vanished without a trace after leaving her SE8 home on 5 December last year. Her family reported her missing five days later, on 10 December, sparking a desperate search.
Man Charged With Murder
On Sunday, 2 January, detectives charged 54-year-old Mark Moodie from Nightingale Place, SE18, with Maureen’s murder. He is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 3 January.
